This move by Google comes hot on the heels of OpenAI’s recent announcement of “Study Mode” for ChatGPT. This new mode employs teaching principles like the Socratic method to foster a more interactive learning experience with the AI chatbot. OpenAI is also partnering with educational technology companies and, along with Microsoft and Anthropic, has joined forces with the American Federation of Teachers to launch the National Academy for AI Instruction.
