It’s Sunday, July 12. Center Court. Jannik Sinner is there to defend his crown. Alexander Zverev stands in his way.
The narrative seems fixed, at least on paper. Sinner has demolished Zverev nine times in a row. Nine straight. He didn’t exactly play pretty in the semifinal either. Just efficient. Brutally so. He broke down seven-time champ Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6.4, 6-4. Clean. Surgical.
Zverev? He’s fresh off a French Open title. That’s the only thing keeping this from feeling like a foregone conclusion. He handled Arthur Fery without blinking on Friday. The crowd was screaming for the British wildcard. Zverev just ignored the noise and won in straight sets. No drama.
But can he actually beat the Italian now?
They meet at the All England Club in London at 4 p.m BST. That’s 11 a.m ET, or 8 a.m PT if you’re on the west coast.
Here’s where you actually find the feed, assuming you don’t want to pay for cable you hate.
The US Options
If you live in the States, the choice is essentially: pay ESPN, or pay a company that gives you ESPN.
The broadcast lands on ESPN, ESPN2, or ABC. The network provides heavy coverage for the men’s final. You can stream it through ESPN Unlimited. Or grab YouTube TV, DirecTV Stream, or Sling TV. All carry the necessary ABC/ESPN packages.
- Sling TV: About $40. It’s the cheap option if you just need ABC.
- YouTube TV: Higher tier, around $83.
- DirecTV: Includes the bundle.
The point is simple. No cable? Buy the stream. They all cancel anytime. Just check your Wi-Fi signal.
Streaming works best when the connection doesn’t drop.
Free UK Access
Lucky break if you’re British. The BBC does this. They air it on BBC One for free. No subscription wall. You can watch it on the tube or on BBC iPlayer. It’s that simple.
Australian Broadcasts
Same deal Down Under, mostly. Channel 9Gem airs it live and free. 9Now lets you stream it without charge.
Want no ads and a different interface? Stan Sport is pushing for your money. It starts around AU$32. Your choice.
Canada
It’s all TSN. Linear TV or the TSN Plus app. They have the rights. You watch there.
That’s it. No hidden tricks. No regional blackouts if you’re inside those borders. The question remains though. Sinner hasn’t lost in nine tries. Does the grass change anything? Or is the French Open just a blip before Sinner’s second title?
We’ll know soon enough.
